Although I am a licensed mental health counselor, I do not specialize in eating disorders. The purpose of my book and blog are to help people fight the lies of the Body Image Bandit, the father of lies, so they can move forward with pursuing their callings. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, I highly recommend you seek professional help from a counselor with significant experience and training in eating disorders. Some excellent resources are:

  1. Wow, what a story you have. I’m a RN by training and in a previous life I worked for biotech company that makes the drug Enbrel, of which one of its indication for use is AS.

Anyway, I think the premise for your book is awesome! Great job!!!

    2. Kimberly, for some reason I just saw this. 😦 Sorry for the delayed response! I’m on Humira, but don’t quipu for any help whatsoever. It will cost me $1800 a month. Works fabulous, but so unaffordable. It feels like I’m being punished for working, as I love my career. Thanks for your response!
